HICAPS Box Hill Podiatry has both HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities! HICAPS is an electronic health claiming and payments system that lets you process your claim automatically after your treatment and before you leave the surgery or practise. The HICAPS service is available at participating: dentists, endodontists, periodontists, dental prosthetics/advanced dental technicians, prosthodontists, paediatric dentists dispensing optometrists, optical dispensers physiotherapists chiropractors osteopaths podiatrists With HICAPS you no longer have to make a seperate trip to your private health fund branch to lodge your claim or send your claim via the post. The claim is finalised on the spot immediately after your consultation. So there's no need to pay the full consultation fee up-front then wait for the reimbursement of your benefit. It's so convenient and easy! All you need is your health fund membership card. After the consultation, your health fund card is simply swiped through the HICAPS terminal by the health service provider. Your claim details are entered and in seconds the whole transaction is processed. Once your claim is authorised by the health fund, you simply pay the balance amount - the difference between the full fee for the treatment and the amount claimed from your health fund. * For Example Your bill: $35.00 Your claims benefit: $28.00 You pay the balence of: $7.00 As we also have installed EFTPOS with HICAPS, then you can pay the balance with your debit or credit card.
